If you are in the market to look for a one-of-a-kind golf vacation, you will surely find different enticing tours and packages including Myrtle Beach golf packages. Myrtle Beach is one such popular location among golfers because of the luscious golf courses that can be found in the area. Myrtle Beach golf courses are all award-winning and ranked among the best worldwide. Any golfer would find playing in any of these courses truly memorable and unique; a total golfing experience.

If you look into the different Myrtle Beach golf packages, you will find that there is a common denominator among them - a visit and a round of golf at the Legends Golf Resort. Almost all of the Myrtle Beach golf vacations would not be complete without a visit at the Legends. One of the best experiences that the Legends Golf Resort guarantees is the kind of service they provide their clients. While playing golf on the Legends golf course, their resort staff are all around, ready to assist players and other customers with their needs.

Legends Golf Resort Specials

Any golfer will really enjoy the Myrtle Beach Legends golf specials. Just recently, the Tournament Players Club has been added to this resort. The best of the courses on the Legends golf course Myrtle Beach is the TPC that was named the South Carolina Course of the Year in 2005 and received a 5-star rating from the Golf Digest.

Booking at the resort requires advance payments with credit card. For a sum of $135 per person, you also get a three-round special in three Legends Courses at Heathland, Parkland, and Moorland. This plan, however, is available only for a limited time but may be renewed with some modifications on the package. There is another one that provides you 3 rounds special at two of the Legends courses and one barefoot course. The Legends courses that you can choose to have the two rounds are Heathland, Parkland, Moorland, Heritage Club, and Oyster Bay. The barefoot courses to choose from are Love, Fazio, or Norman. This package costs $155 per person presently but may be revised soon.

Money Saving Offer

A real attractive money saving offer for a golfer is to play 4 rounds and get the 5th one free at the six beautiful golf courses on the Grand Stand. This includes the TPC, ranked as the only five-star course among all the courses on the Grand Stand by Golf Digest. This is one great opportunity any golfer will relish.

The Legends Courses

As many as ten classic and world class golf courses invite you to play golf at The Legends golf course. Let us have a brief overview of these courses.
  • The undulating greens at Oyster Bay sets up a challenge before you for putting on its uneven surface. Your normal golf stance and swap will be of no use here and you will have to take a special stance at each bunker. There are many such bunkers on the course where you will need all your talents to focus on the right strokes.
  • Large expanses of natural growth and a number of sandy areas make the Moorland golf course one of the most challenging outings. Moreover, there are many water and waste areas that make the course undulating. This course was opened in 1990. It is a par 72 course.
  • The par 71 course at Heathland is framed on old country traditions of golf. Unobstructed gush of wind and breeze blowing across the course is the greatest challenge here. Many of the bunkers are deep and require crisp and extraordinary skill to retrieve the ball.
  • Background of oak trees, giant magnolias and blue water gives the Heritage Club golf course a panoramic look. Heavily studded with wildflowers and shrubs, the course is not only challenging but also loaded with cynic beauty. It is ranked among the best fifty golf courses in America by the Golf Digest.
  • In sharp contrast to Heritage and Moorland, the Parkland course offers the natural terrains with a lush green spread over vast areas. There are bunkers but they are not like the other two courses. Parkland is coming up as the most exciting golf course of recent times.
  • Former host of senior championship tours, the TPC boasts of the fact that almost all legendary figures of golf have left their footprints here. The course is so much self-contained that it is considered as one of the top ten golf courses in America.

Accommodations

There is no dearth of suitable accommodations for all types of travelers and tourists at Myrtle Beach. Throughout its long strip of beaches expanding to 60 miles, there are many resorts, hotels, motels, condo, inns, and beach houses. Each one of them provides all the basic amenities essential for a tourist and all sorts of facilities required by a golfer. The condo units are mostly located right on the golf courses which are big attractions for the golfers. Most of these accommodations provide for family golf too. The best part of it is that you can find an accommodation that would suit anyone's budget and choice.

Various accommodations are spread over areas like North Myrtle Beach, Garden City, Murrells Inlet, Surfside Beach, Pawley's Islands, etc. If you can obtain a Myrtle Beach VIP Card, then you can avail of the various discounts in accommodations. A common feature of all these accommodations is that the rooms are spacious and well furnished, most of them have a view of the vast ocean and golden beaches, and majority of them have adjacent golf courses.
