If you want to escape the cold of a northern winter, then consider a California golf vacation. There are many popular things to do in California, and one of those is golf. California golf courses offer a variety of skill levels and terrains for golfers of all abilities. One of the popular central California golf courses is Blacklake Golf Resort.

Vacationing in California

California is one of the most popular tourist destinations in America. People travel literally from around the world to visit California. Large cities, such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Hollywood, draw many thousands of guests each year. Not only that, but popular tourist attractions, such as Disney Land and Universal Studios are a big draw. But California also offers hidden gems. The beautiful scenery in the northern areas of California is a great vacation idea. The many national parks of the state draw visitors each year. And California has many golf courses. Blacklake golf course, in Nipomo, California, is one of the popular California golf resorts.

Blacklake Golf Resort

The Blacklake Golf Resort is located among the dark oaks of California's Central Coast. Because of the natural beauty of the area, Blacklake is truly a gem among California golf courses.
Location
One of the biggest draws to Blacklake is its beautiful location. The course is set in over 400 acres of dark oak woodlands, between the cities of Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo. This makes the resort a great base for California day trips. The central coastal hills offer a beautiful backdrop to a round of golf.
Courses
Blacklake is a 27 hole resort, which is broken in to three nine hole courses. The courses offer something for golfers of all abilities. The Lakes and Canyon courses are par-36, and the Oaks is a par-35. The courses also take advantage of the rolling countryside of the area, and make the most of the natural beauty of the location.

The courses of this resort are short as far as courses go, but they can be challenging. The fairways and greens are sloped, and sometimes the hole is hidden well.

Green Fees for the courses are as follows
